I'm trying to install the Morrowind Overhaul mod and I am on the last step where I have to run MGE. But everytime I click it a message pops up that says "MGE has stopped working checking for solution."

I honestly can't figure out whats wrong, I've searched through the forums, ran the all programs in compatibility mode and as an administrator. I honestly can't figure out whats wrong.


My computer is a 64 bit vista with a 7 GB RAM and my processor is AMD Phenom™ 9650 Quad-Core Processor 2.30 GHz.

But,
did you install all the required programs/files.
The MGE thread has a great FAQ to help you make sure.

Very often people forget to do a simple step that is in the FAQ and in the install guide of the Overhaul:

- Run Morrowind Launcher.exe as admin
- Change the resolution and confirm with ok
- Quit the Launcher and run MGEgui.exe as admin.
