Maybe it's just me, but it seems like lately, developers are adding racial issues into games just for the sake of trying to send the message that racism is bad. And what's worse is that it almost always comes off way too obvious and contrived.
Though I do think it was interesting in Fallout 3 how the head guy at Paradise Falls (forget his name, but remember his two six slaves with swords? damn that was cool) was black, as well as the guy at the front that you bring slaves to, and I think the Legion guy in NV that guarded the slaves at w/e Cove.
I think more conflicts about misogyny, class, wealth, etc. would be far more interesting. Maybe Bethesda could take a few hints from LA: Noire, even though these situations would be different because you wouldn't be Cole Phelps and wouldn't have to just sit there like a [censored] and watch your partner or fellow cop be a total dike.
