A leather curiass that protected my chest and abdomen, It would hae coering it square equal skinny sized steel plates. Easy to mass produce and size making it very cost effectie when bulding a large amry and still durable enoguh to last in regular combat.

The shoulders or pauldron areas would be of simple leather covering. I would then have for greaves a simple leather armour banded to the legs over clothes with a kilt like clothing around the waist covered with lighter squares. clothing underneath may poke thorugh and its made of fur. Also wear a coif like hat.

It would be the closest thing form the light to medium armour.

I'm going to necro this thread because it interests me.

If I were to make my perfect set of armour....

Dark green hooded robes; open in front revealing basic brown leather trousers and a dirty white cotton shirt. Leather padding on the shoulders; several belts both on the inside and outside of the robe with dozens of pouches hanging on each pouch. Pockets everywhere. And lastly: A man-purse hanging from a strap going across the chest that hangs near the left hip, and a heavy looking spellbook hanging from a strap on the opposite hip.

Set name: Practical Magician's Attire.
