Area 51...?

edit: 6:) Having glanced through your post history, well, calling them morons in previous topics and then this aggressive post, somehow I don't think they'd listen.

The game is still broken? Is the quest that I have ranted about in the past still broken? Indeed it is. It will never be fixed. Ive yet to even play New Vegas since the week it was released simply because they refuse to fix this quest. I cant get past that part of the game because its broken.

So you can send people to Pittsburgh from Washington DC but not to Area 51 from the strip? I dont understand the argument. As for "its been done before" well yeah so have super mutants, ghouls, dogs... etc. etc. Just because something has been done before doesnt mean it shouldnt be included in future projects. Like it or not the aliens obviously exist in the Fallout universe. Why not expand on them further?

I just see it as a missed opportunity to let players get away from all the ...I dont know, sand? Im not exactly a Fallout walking wiki here, possibly it would go against some magical lore? But when I think of Nevada I think of Las Vegas and Area 51.

Get away from the sand? You do know that there's nothing, but sand around Area 51?

And yes, they've obviously felt that having done Mothership Zeta for the Aliens and with Old World Blues handling the high tech military base, there's no longer a need for Area 51.

Also, until Mothership Zeta, Aliens were only an easter egg in Fallout. Quite a few people don't consider Mothership Zeta as canon, more of an expanded easter egg.

Which quests? Have you checked the fixed list for the latest patch?

Just to note. Patches cannot fix save games that have become too broken, you may have to actually start a new game for the fixes to take effect (No game I know will access the save games during a patch, too much chance of screwing them up)

And there's been several patches since release. Many of which may have solved your problems.

Really? The first place I heard of Area 51 was in sci-fi films. Nevada to me was always desert, with Vegas thrown in.
