The Shi : Fallout Series Discussion

I've seen all the info about the Shi on the Fallout Wiki, but I never played Fallout 2. If any of you have played it could you fill me in on some of the more specific details. Like did they still speak chinese, did they still wear chinese uniforms like the Chinese Remnant Army in D.C., and what exactly was up with that radiation absorbing plant? Most of all, which ending from the game is considered cannon. Did they make an empire, or get wiped out?

Unknown until one of them is confirmed by a future game.

They complain about being tired of fish and working. They also complain about the punks being too loud and they are racist, they make fun of the player character for having "funny round eyes".

I don't think they speak Chinese, as the player character can understand them just fine, technology wise they are one of the more high tech factions in the game, and they don't dress or act like Chinese remnant army.

The Shi, demoralised and leaderless after your rampage through

There are other actions, like giving them veritbird plans etc that doesn't appear to affect ending narration at all.. But overall which path you get depends on Chosen one's alignment. If the Chosen one is canonically evil, then Shi is most likely smashed, if not, then Shi forms a new empire. As for which one happens depends on the developer.

Personally I think the second one will be official, mostly because it will make more interesting game if Bethesda ever decide to use west coast.
