Yes, I'm disappointed, and was looking for a june or July release.

Just how much time on the hype machine does one need? (and I'm ignorant of any other game release dates that would be competing)

Also, they screwed me over in the pool...I had a Superbowl announcement with a JUne release :swear:

I'm just happy it's been announced.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they had to delay the game to 2012. I DON'T want them to rush the game, they should take their time.

11/11/11 is just about what I thought, I don't see a need for a rush. I hope it is on time though as I'll be taking some of my vacation time accordingly.

Given that previous games have come out 3-12 months after the stated release date, I am going to guess it will actually come out in March 2012, four months late like Oblivion was. I hope not though!

The way I see it, Id rather have it come out at its release date or alter so I can be sure thye put at least a little time into looking for bugs.

I'm happy with it. Of course I wouldn't complain if it was going to be released sooner but, as most people feel, BGS should take their time so they're as happy as they could be. I would be annoyed with a delay but if it's necessary I won't complain.

I am just glad it has been announced, I'd wait how ever long I must to get my hands on The Elder Scrolls V, and set foot into Skyrim.

But since there was a second question of when I think it should (have) be(en) released, I thought I would vote Before September, since my birthday is the 26th of August.

I would say I'm happy not only with the release date but that fact that that was a determining factor in the announcement time according to the pre-teaser stuff on the blog. So that means there's a slightly lower chance of delay this time.

I'm just happy its announced (more than happy, it so made my weekend to see the trailer).

And as much as I wish it would come out right now, I'd rather they not rush this game (rushing in this industry is practically a death sentence).

Some people think 11/11/11 is too soon, some think it's not soon enough - I think it's perfect timing, honestly. Three years of solid development with a relatively large team focused on just that product the entire time? It'll be great.

A release date on a Friday is nothing short of epic. That means that I don't even have to go to bed because of classes in the morning, I can just stay up all night and play for the greater part of that day before crashing. The biggest pet peeve I have with game releases is the "Tuesday Rule" because it's apparently too difficult for the Postal Service to ship the games on other days of the week. I'm so glad that Bethesda broke that rule for this game.

I am so happy it was announced, but am disappointed it will be released on Remembrance Day, which is a civic holiday in most of Canada. I won't be able to get it on the release day, and neither will a lot of Canadians. At least the twelfth is a Saturday, and I have a day off school to watch gameplay videos on the eleventh. I hate to say this, but I kind of hope it is delayed one day so I can get it when the rest of the world does.
