The Best future for New Vegas

Post » Sat Jul 09, 2011 4:33 am

:fallout: I prefered Independance, because I don't think anyone, besides Yes Man and Mr. House, would give New Vegas the best future possible. Ncr would bring taxes upon it's citizens. And as Marcus quotes "The NCR will regret stomping all over everyone. That's how revolutions start." The Legion would enslave almost everyone in the Strip, Freeside etc. Mr. House rules almost as a dictator, so I think being independant would most likely help New Vegas in the long run. :fallout:

does that mean you were also an Enclave fan, Hanlon?

another one of these threads, eesh. Do you really think, OP, that the Mojave and New Vegas would be better off without a central governing authority? Do you truly believe a bunch of independent communities are better off acting according to their own desires, in their own directions, would really make for a better place for everyone in the Mojave? Really?

Either House or NCR. If your just strictly talking about Vegas and the immediate around it then House is probably the best choice, but if your talking about the entire region then NCR is, imho anyways.

Way to many people making this thread, but MR.house, I have never sided with him but TBH he is a genius with an army to do his bidding, which is to restore vegas to its former glory, and when he's done with that he will move onto free and westside and keep going until the whole Mojave is restored. NCR cant do this as fast with there human army and would charge taxes etc, legion can bring stability, but no restoration as they are as good with technology as mole rats are at killing deathclaw and yesman is alright but wont bring law, so people without money to afford security are as good as dead.

It is my personal opinion that the NCR offers the best future for the area. With Kimball dead(failed to save him) and General Oliver moving further along, the NCR can reevaluate it's priorities, especially since they now have to practice diplomacy. Mighty empire to the north formed from the Khans and the Followers. I loved winning for NCR and screwing them at the same time to help them grow.

Ideally I'd want an independent New Vegas through the Followers of the Apocalypse.

I'd eventually have to get rid of Yes Man if only because it seems as though he would threaten that independence.

House is the best ending due to his extensive pre-War knowledge and desire to rebuild the city into an image of splendor once more.

Independent would be the best, but Obsidian unaccountably decided that the wasteland falls into chaos outside Vegas in the indie ending. I don't suppose the giant robot army could have helped in that regard, hmmm?

NCR. Trying to Reunite America back under a new, better, banner. And all this stuff about Taxes is nonsense, taxation is one of the necessities for a government to be able to run. Without taxes than the government gets no money, do I have to go into why a government with no money is bad? NCR is progress.

God bless the NCR!
