(WIP/RELZ) Vibrant Distant LOD & Vibrant Textures Enhanc

Post » Sat Jul 09, 2011 4:44 am

This is exactly what I'm looking for! QTP3 strays too far from the vanilla textures for my tastes and also takes up way too much memory for my mod load, even with my 5870 (I have FCOM and other mods). I like the original textures just want to enhance them and this does the trick! Thanks!

Well these have strayed away from vanilla a little bit when it comes to color scheme, but, not when to comes to performance, which is same has vanilla if not better in some areas. Plus if you run heavy mods then you want all the vram for running those textures from those mods has well.

Any plans for a RAEVWD package for these? Or would TESLODGEN take care of this?

Vibrant RAEVWD will get done one of these days, just a matter of resizing to raevwd setting is all and getting the format right etc.

TES4LODGEN is only for creating the data files (data\distantlod\) that are needed for Far Distant Model to be seen in the far distant, and without a VWD Mod like RAEVWD, it would serve no purpose really..

Eh... Corepc, I have a problem with the new 1.6.5 and 1.6.6 packs...
Uninstalled and (unfortunately deleted ) the old packages.
Installed the new ones and actually reinstalled all my textures replacers.
Tried to visit waterfront - instant CTD every time.
Any suggestions?

Edit: Found out what's going on :D
Better Cities conflict.
Uninstalled BC, reinstalled the latest version, updated NPC levels, loaded the last save and went to kill the captain in Waterfront harbor.
Some people don't get subtle hints and need a shovel on the head :D

Are the Install instructions in the first post up to date?
I noticed they include the
Vibrant Architecture
Vibrant Clutter
Vibrant Distant Normal
files. Which are listed on Tesnexus under Old Versions.
If so, the instructions on Tesnexus need to be updated as well.

Should I follow the instructions and just skip the files that are listed as old?

Instructions for Install order is still the same , just slighty out of date with Current 1.6.5 Download

Has the 1.6.5 Vibrant and 1.6.6 SI are all in one download that contain all the Architecture, Clutter, Landscape, Oblivion Files in One Download. So instead of downloading each one you only need to 1.6. X Version.

The Distant Normal and Weather and Grain Filter are seperate install and they are not old files..
