I have been running into a high amount of ping even when I go to speedtest.net and it shows I get good internet speed. Web browsing is working fine and none of that seems slow.

I do have wireless internet and can't really do anything about it at this point. The rounder is a lynksis e1000 so its nothing special and my wifi signal is usual. Also the internet isn't consistent with its ping when it is good. I know that is probably from wireless but anyone have any suggestions?

P.S. I even tried a wifi range extender and the difference help none.

I wouldn't know. you could try contacting your provider.
