Just downloaded the new 360 patch this morning now my game won't load it just stays at the loading screen forever. Anyone else have this problem of a fix to this? Thanks

I have always had the same problem, so I dont think its the patch. But for me its on the PC so idk if its the same on the 360

I had that same thing before this new update but my saves started loading again after about a week. I hope the new update doesn't start making it happen again.

Yeah this just happened to me. I had to uninstall the patch to get it to work.

I am also having this issue...which is extremely frustrating as this is the third time I've had problems w/loading saved games...after getting over 3/4 of the way thru the game! First two times I at least had some type of error message(which I still didnt understand); and today its all about the infinite loading screen. As much as I love this game I'm about ready to stomp on the disc. I've downloaded both DLC's which I havent been able to play yet and WAS going to download the newest dlc coming out on July 19th...but I wont if this issue isnt corrected quickly. I do clean the memory cache to keep the game from glitching so much. Can anyone tell me how you UN download the patch?! Frustrated in Michigan.....

To remove the patch I went to My xbox --> system --> memory --> hard drive --> fallout: new vegas then deleted "title update#5." that might not be the exact path but it is something like it

Thank you...I did finally figure it out except that if I delete the update then my downloaded content is no longer available...grrrrr SOoooo now I guess I'm just gonna wait awhile for them to FIX the patch and then see if my saved game loads. I just really hate to start over for the third time when the game is so time consuming anyway.

Just had the same thing happen to me. Got home from work, saw an update to be downloaded and now infinite loading screen. I did follow the deleting update instructions and am able to play the basics but locked from all the DLC atm.
