The only official release date we have so far is fall 2010.

There's no official release date except Q4 2010. That could be anywhere between September and December i believe. Btw, the moderators already locked "when will it be released threads" b/c no one really knows. This one will probably get locked as soon as one sees it just fyi.

It'll probably be longer. I've never heard of a game being released early (ever), but I always hear about release dates being pushed back and terms like "vaporware" flying around. Earliest you can hope for is October, I'd say.

why are they locking them?

idk, the one I saw was locked b/c there is no information. Maybe the policy changed. idk.
