Unicorns

What's wrong with unicorns, guys?
Orcs and elves and big spiders and dragons and barbarians and mages are all AS STEREOTYPED AS UNICORNS. So yeah, if you don't want fairy tale stereotypes in this game, you don't want to play Skyrim.

How lame. Dragons are a-ok, but unicorns are "girly"? This board is so tragic. XD

There was nothing stereotypical about Oblivion's demonic, psycho unicorn. :P

I dont see a problem with Unicorns, it doesent Have to be a Girl thing and Todd already stated that No Unicorns will be in Skyrim. ;)

He did Jokingly said, for a Unicorn DLC $200 for Riding a Dragon DLC $500 :P

Besides, if you want a Unicorn so Badly, get a Mod to Build you one. :)

Spears and Unicorns are the Lowest Priority on my list, its Dragon Riding that i want. :celebration:

I would like one as a unique creature, as there was in Oblivion.

I would also like other unique creatures such as the abominable snowman, bigfoot, kraken, cthtulu, pegasus, phoenix, centaurs......

......as well as completly new creatures not from real world mythology or literature.............

Chtulhu? Well, I think Lovecraft would turn in the grave if a player killed it. And the snowman and bigfoot is technically the same. But I would love centaurs and phoenixes.

It would depend on how it was designed. In unicorn lore, this animal that is usually depicted today as a cute, glittery white pony, was actually something deadly. Depending on what part of the world a myth came from, a unicorn looked nothing like a horse. Some actually had scales like a dragon and a lion-like mane. The Arabian version of the unicorn looks more like a rhino than a pretty white horse.

So....if they made something like an arctic version which is maned, has shaggy "feathers" on the legs like a clydesdale and really made it look like a fearsome, tough beast that could survive in such a climate, I would welcome it. But the pretty white glittery pony version that the unicorn has unfortunately been turned into...no I don't think that would work.

Nothing against unicorns, but the unicorn in Oblivion was more of an obnoxious pest than a creature that added anything to game.
