Artefacts if object graphic setting is set to ultrta

I have installed the dx11 updates and HiRes pack and activate it.

But the problem is that if I set all graphic options to "ultra" I have a lot of artifacts. If I set only the "object" option back to "extreme" everything works perfect.

System:
Intel Core i7-860
8GB RAM
Radeon HD 5850 1GB with Catalyst 11.6
Windows 7 HomePremium 64bit

Can you please give me a hint what to do?

I have exactly the same issue, apparently it depends on tessellation, but I don`t know how to fix it, the only way is to turn of tessellation :(

I have contacted the support of EA and they tell me that the 5850 hasn't enough memory to run DX11. But I have found videos on youtube from 5850 user that really look great.

I only played Dirt2 as DX11 game and it works really good. I now have installed the Unigine Heaven benchmark and there also no problems. If I set the effects to high only the frame rate goes down as I expected but NO artefact's.

So I think this is not a driver problem it seems to me that it is a setting of the game.

I add a screenshot maybe somebody has an idea if he sees what I mean.

Tell them they're a load of pillocks.

I have 2 5850s in xfire, and fair enough, there are issue with xfire at the moment. But with a single card, I don't see any of these artifacts. To be honest, the ultra objects settings (specifically tessellation) are out of the question at the moment, because whenever I look at a wall, it's 10 fps. But yeah, never seen artifacts like that.
