I came across this today. It looks like a very suitable solution to hold even the largest keyboards while still having plenty room for a mouse pad. Check it out!

Main problem with this one is that it is too narrow. My current keyboard is 19.5 inches wide and would cover the entire surface without room for a mouse.

WOW! They even designed it so that my balls can having breathing room! Quality contruction with huge balled people in mind. That's excellent engineering at it's best!

HAHA! Mine is in the mail! Non-smothering pillow material with breathing room , built in arm wrests, quality construction, any custom design fabric you'd want, and plenty of canvass space for multiple uses. What more could you ask for in a lap desk!
