Armor Repair Kits?

Post » Sun Jul 10, 2011 6:56 am

So a thought popped into my head the other day. What if there was a recipe for an "armor repair kit" kind of like a wespon repair kit but for... well, armor. It would be craftable and require a few things

1 Hammer
2 Gecko Hide
2 Scrap Metal
1 Wonder Glue

It would also have a repair requirement of 50 in order to build, it would weigh around 2 units of weight and would cost about the same as a doctors bag. I say around the price of a doctors bag because I know from experience, if a player absolutely needs it, of feels they need it, they will throw down the caps for it. I know there might be some issues with "what about helmets and headwear and such?" I'm saying this as an alternative for those players who are either a low level and need a way to repair armor in the field or dont want to spend an arm and a leg repairing unique armor, or for those players who do not take jury riggging.

Thoughts?

Not a bad idea. Jury Rigging makes armor repair fairly easy, but there are some types that take a special kind of armor to repair.
