What confirmed feature are you most excited about?

Post » Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:58 am

The many time consuming tasks that like NPCs and I can do so I can feel like I am totally immersed...

Also, two axes, or an axe and a sword (after summoning a deadra)

Buying a house and filing it with wine and cheese

Cooler urban life and all the extra people working on dungeons

Oh, and I guess that there are also DRAGONS

Ill try to avoid anything other people have said and say the audio.

This vid really shows it off, just pay attention to the music *especially the battle music*

Not to mention just every single thing sounds better, better audio quality all around.

I am excited for quite frankly everything in the game though, oh if only it game out during summer, now im going to have to actually go to school and miss out on it for a bit :(

...Could break my collar bone in soccer again though... Its the perfect plan!

Like so many have said...Everything. there is just to much...

But I would have to say the concept of Skyrim. The idea of exploration in a "believeable" world. The chance to bump into a ramdon person and go resque his pet goat from being cooked from necromancer...

If this makes sense and "Book" where I control the main character anddecide his actions.

I was honestly more excited about the graphics updates -- No more doughy faces! Natural-looking animations! -- than anything else. I would have been happy with a prettier and more balanced Oblivion, but Skyrim sounds excellent.

just the overall feeling of freedom. like the first thing i will probably do is go into a town and work my way up to becoming a good blacksmith. i will hunt for food and get into a routine. that means working and hunting by day, tavern brawling and reading in game books by night. i will become very familiar with the province of skyrim through that town, and when i think i am strong enough i will start to do quests for people. i will just take the whole game very slow and just take everything in at a comfortable pace.

so i guess my answer would be: every feature! the endless possibilities!

but to be more specific, i'm pretty excited to see how the activities work like smithing, cooking, and farming work. also the stealth combat like backstabs. and archery. and really just the revamped combat in general. but most of all, the exploration.

sorry that answer was so long, its impossible for me to pick one thing.

I agree, with all the new things, its just hard to decide. Oh and I really like your plan, about just living in the world live an average guy/creature then going and to explore it.

I think I'll have to go with the Dragon Shouts. I normally play a Warrior/Destro magic character just for a couple of ranged, offensive spells.

But it's sounding like with the shouts I may be able to go pure warrior(gotta have resto, I don't believe in pot chugging, but hell there might be healing shouts so I CAN go pure warrior).

I am excited about the 'dynamic' spell casting system. I hope I won't have to hook up a controller to my comp to get the most out of it though.
