Old Norse Mythology Reference?

Post » Sun Jul 10, 2011 2:45 pm

Do any of you guys undoubtedly think there will either be a reference to Norse Mythology (such as the Udyfrykte in Bloodmoon)? In any case, a rendition of Fafnir in dragon-form would be nice.

I wouldn't put it past them, but it really remains to be seen. I'm much looking forward to what M'aiq has to say, though, hope he's there somewhere!

It'd seem almost a waste -not- to add in some references of that nature, though, to be sure.

I hope Bethesda carries on M'aiq's legacy, perhaps a ghost or a descendant?

I think M'aiq is omnipotent, so if he's there he'll be himself as he wills himself to be! Be it as a spirit, or as an exceptionally hairy nord with an odd hairstyle.

Well, he certainly can run fast; to the point in where he is equal to the speed of a Cheydinhal horse. Of course, he might've tackled with the Elder Scrolls. :hubbahubba:

M'aiq is there to break the fourth wall, so I don't think the average Khajiit lifespan would apply. Heh

im sure alot of norse myth will be used as source material. its most evident in the dragonshouts. and for books and storys based on norse myth. but all of it will be specific to tes and the standing lore. just nordified. yes, i just made that word. :)
