I hope there's no NPC only armor

Like the Palace Guard armor used by Watch Captains in Oblivion's Imperial City. Players should be able to salvage and wear any gear (that isn't summoned).

Oh god, thank you for bringing up yet another thing I loathed about Oblivion

I agree with the sentiments in this thread.

i'm pretty sure there will be unique armor to npcs you can't kill, which doesn't really bother me.. why does the player always have this affliction that he must own everything in the game?

Damn palace guards, think they're better than everyone else in their fancy White and gold armour. I wanted it so badly :(

I'm sure they'll have fixed that for Skyrim. Otherwise, we always have mods :)

You guys are silly. The Palace Gaurd are Super-Imperials with armor as skin. The result of tireless eugenic research financed by Empire and directed by the Arcane University and the Council.

The Royal Palace Gaurd Program, or RPG program, was adopted to combat the fears stemming from Summerset Isle.

Read the lore. :spotted owl:

I don't pick up armor off of slain opponents... it obviously did not help them so it definitely will not benefit me!
