Better Conversations... Hopefully?

In the leaked audio, which I won't link to, you can hear an old woman talking to her son.

Woman: A dragon! I saw a dragon! :cryvaultboy:

Son: What? What is it now, mother? <_<

Woman: It was as big as the mountain of *some name*. It flew right over the barrow.

Son: Dragons now? Please, mother! There are people around. :stare: Everyone in town will think you're crazy. I've got better things to do than to listen to more of your fantasies.

This made me think about how the dialogue has, hopefully, been improved.. Though, the voice acting for this did sound a tad cheesy . But, all is well :foodndrink:.

So long as there is more voice actors it will be better. :)

I don't think those were the final voice actors. I bet they were placeholders, and that's why those parts of the demo were cut out. They needed audio for reviewers watching the demo, though, so those are probably a programmer and his gramma we're hearing. Oblivion's Dunmer had gravelly voices during the demo too, after all.

I might be wrong though. I hope so, I thought the voice acting was fine. Peasants shouldn't sound as epic as Max Von Sydow.

I agree... With both statements . I have faith .

"You smell of death. Have you been conjuring up dead things".
"Look at the muscles on you."
"You have the hands of a theif"

Nuff said?

No?

There's a CHARGE in the air. Been casting DESTRUCTION spells lately!?!?!
You look like a sneaky looking sort'
You look like you know how to move in light armor...
You have some nimble fingers, what have you been getting into?

So each skill and each main storyline offers a unique voiced greeting to the player.

As for conversations..If I hear two people ahve the exact same conversation minutes away in Skyrim, I will be dissapointed.

I hope this will have better convos, for the info I read on this thread made me happy. Atleast we won't have the super long convos like they did in Oblivion.
"Glad to see you."
"Goodbye."

Yeah that just didn't work in Oblivion did it? Very clever I suppose technically but in reality I think the Gothic method of chit chat worked a lot better.
