Bad Treatment

I don't understand how people still follow Caeser after how he treat's his failed General. I mean, people are going to be afraid to become the new Legate if they know they'll be lit on fire for failure. Then having a perfectly good soldier killed in some ritual to where he is beaten to death by the other nine. Caesers going to run out of tribes to conquer, and out of men. What do you guys think?

Decimation worked for the Romans although it had mostly fallen out of use by Caesars time. JC never used it but did threaten to decimate a legion when they mutinied. He lot them off when they handed over the ringleaders.

What he did to Graham doesn't make sense to me though. Graham was loyal, dedicated. Yes, he made mistakes but Caesar should've been aware of his limitations as a general. Blaming your subordinates when things go wrong won't encourage loyalty.
