I've been watching trailers for Skyrim (pre-ordered it yesterday! getting myself psyched for november!) But I saw many things in the videos like the character is always wearing the same thing and always using the same weapon. I am almost positive but, just to be safe, Skyrim will be as customizable and lootable as Oblivion right?

Nope it's nord only it's skyrim dovakin territory this time! Why would it be like other tes games? You only get whats needed for the dragon campaign...

The Dovahkiin character being used in the demo's is basically just the mascot for Skyrim. Everything is cutomizable, there are 10 races too choose from for example

its the same for every ES game that i have seen at least. basically they use the dominant race of the area as the poster boy. it makes sense that way.

That is like observing that the Vault Dweller is always shown in a Vault suit, and therefore you are only allowed to wear a Vault suit.

Yes, it is quite customizable :foodndrink:. The character that you see in the trailer and what not is just the, "Mascot", if you will, of the game.

Cuirass and greaves are merged in to "armor" same as shirt and pants (as for clothes)

We don't know yet if we will be able to pickup stuff like in Morrowind or Oblivion but i hope so.

There is no more agility or acrobatics.

You can't be jack of all trades like in Morrowind or Oblivion.

And a lot of stuff has changed.

Everything else seems the same is TES after all Skyrim will be a fun game :tes:
