Continuing side quests after finishing the main storyline qu

Post » Tue Jul 12, 2011 10:25 am

I have a question:

and that question is Can you continue doing side quests even after you finished the main storyline quest?

I know you couldn't do that when the game first came out but i was wondering if there was an update that did that or one of the dlc games allowed you to do that
thanks

Well, considering the game doesn't continue after the Main Questline ends. No. You have to do all quests before the big battle.

As for your second part, there is not, nor will there be, a DLC that allows post-gameplay. As stated by multiple Devs.

Hope this clears things up.

No, you can't. Which is a darn shame. Now the fine folks of the Mojave refuse to let me forget about Hoover Dam"Ohh the damns about to explode!! The battle is going to be epic LOLOLOL"!

Not to mention every time I play I keep getting the "Report to General Fuzzyknackers for the battle of Hoover Dam".

No, and they never will, but the game does automatically make a save before the final mission for you to load afterword.

Jedediah:Do side quests first. Story line can wait. The quicker you get the story line over with, the crappier you ending gets. The more people you help, the better your ending gets.

This right here. People looking to "speed run" the game will get a most unsatisfactory ending - something not worth working for. However, those who take time to do the side quests and immerse themselves into the storyline will find a much more satisfying ending (though I still wish it allowed me to continue after, like Fallout 2 did...)
