Hey, guys. I've got a problem here and I hope someone can help me. In Daggerfall, I can't proceed with the main quest anymore because, it seems, of a glitch. I can't talk to the princess of Wayrest to get the Elysiana's Robe quest, and also I can't deliver the Soul of a Lich quest (yes, I'm pretty sure I do have his soul, his face appear on the left of the screen). I click on the King of Worms or on the princess, but nothing happens. Already tried changing interaction modes, and the only one to work on them is the viewing one. When I try to talk or steal (I think latter's supposed to be like that), nothing happens. So I'm stuck. Already tried using fix-save and reinstalling the game, but the problem persists. :banghead:

By the way, all other characters I can talk to. The guilds characters, the people in the streets, taverns and shops. Only these main quest related ones I can't talk to.

Please, can someone help me with that? I'd be so grateful I could even give you a cookie. :cookie:

You might not be the right level yet.

You have to reach required levels in order to push the MQ forward.

Well, I saw on the Internet you need to be lvl 6 to do Elysana's Robe and 7 to the Soul of a Lich. I'm lvl 7 and I was already able to get the Soul of a Lich quest, I just can't deliver it. :sadvaultboy:

Not sure about the Lich, but I do know that if you have done the Blackmail quest for Helseth, then Elysana won't give you the Robe quest.

Oh, I've done the blackmail quest, so that must be it. But the most important one is still not working. :cryvaultboy:

If memory serves, Prince Lhotun and Elysana send letters to your character only when you reach a certain level. I remember I was concerned about this on my previous character but after reaching level 5, 10 or something like that the main quest continued.

Well, that'd apply to not being able to start a quest, which was my case at Elysandra's Robe, but the other guy up there already found out what was wrong (although... wouldn't she at least say stuff like "I have nothing to talk to you" or something? She's just completely mute for me). But in the Lich's Soul quest, what's wrong is that I can't finish it. I'm carrying the soul but I can't deliver it. His goddamned face appear on the left, but the King of Worms won't talk to me. :banghead:


By the way, I ran fixsave again and I got a message: "The error reported was: This game needs more work. Contact Hal @ Bethesda." I found out his e-mail is supposed to be hal@gamesas.com; does anyone know if he's still working at Bethesda to see that e-mail? :unsure2:

Well, I... don't see any gems in my inventory at all. :brokencomputer: That means he didn't even give me the scarab?

Yeah, make sure you didn't sell or drop the thing. And make sure it's in your inventory, not your wagon. It's a little scarab amulet thing with a green background, in your clothing & misc tab.
