Did q player find it or was it a revealed Easter egg?

I would say some person set out to explore every inch of land, and found it, said "Hey, cool! I should tell this to someone!"

I'm more interested in knowing how the guy wearing it died, since he obviously didn't drown.

I guarantee multiple people have found it all on their own. I sure as hell didn't, though. I first found out about it from a youtube video that was showing off easter eggs.


Same. Fin Gleam has always been an artifact to capture my imagination. I usually use the name Fin Gleam as both the name of the helmet and the previous owner.

Another way it could have been "discovered" it is by browsing through the list of items in game using the TES4 Construction Set.

I think this is probably the way it was first discovered. I doubt anyone simply stumbled upon it while exploring the world.
