Dragonborn in Oblivion?

Post » Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:26 pm

Hi, I started playing Oblivion again and I just did the part where you bring Martin to Cloud Ruler Temple.
The small cutscene came where Martin is greeted by the Blades, Where the raise there swords and hail him.
I just happened to notice that a female voice said "Hail Dragonborn".
I'm not going on a rant or anything claiming that Martin is the Dragonborn or anything
I'm just looking for some insight on this and why that call Martin the Dragonborn.
Thanks

Yah Martin is Dragonborn, the Septim Dynasty are all Dragonborn. You would have been right to say Martin was Dragonborn.

I've been looking on Uesp and The imperial library and it really doesn't say anything about being a Dragon Born except for a page that was titled Oblivion Talk:Brother Martin that seemed very WIKI and very inconclusive. So does that mean that Dragon Blood and Dragon Borns are the same thing? I find that hard to believe.
