I was over on the xbox forums and I was looking for the Skyrim forum. I assumed there wasn’t one because I looked under the letter T for xbox 360 games. The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion were listed but not The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
Later on I discovered that TES: Skyrim was listed under the letter E. WTF! Elder Scrolls: Skyrim?
I’m sorry but the “The” is part of the title. Would you remove the word “The” from “The Lord of the Rings”? No. Their forum admin must not be a fan.

I'm actually more upset that Morrowind and Oblivion are listed under the T section. It is very common practice to ignore "the" when alphabetizing things.

It is pretty annoying when you know what the game is called and the person who makes the forum obviously does not. I have this same problem looking up info about The Legend of Zelda all the time.

They should be listed as

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The

I'm pretty sure this is how most people list titles that start with "The".

I voted no. I wouldn't mind if they listed Morrowind under "M", Oblivion under "O", and Skyrim under "S".

TES. While you can drop "the" from the name and people will usually know what you mean if you say Elder scroll, the name of the series is The Elder Scrolls. :tes:
