Mouse lag during the menus

Is there a way to make the mouse run smoother in the menus? I tried turning off v-sync through my nvidia control panel. Didn't seem to do anything, though it worked like a charm for Oblivion. And it's not the music glitch either, since I Have my music turned up.

Open Morrowind.ini located in game's main folder, search for Max FPS=240 and change it to your monitor refresh rate (usually 60 for LCDs).

The http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=utilities.detail&id=22 has a function to 'Accelerate Mouse in Menus'
Makes a huge difference for me.
