Crytek silent

I still completely disagree Terrey, but I will just say, that easy doesn't always mean better, in fact to me it usually means much worse. Give a good player the empowerment of the Nanosuit 1 and you will see flow.

In games Easy means better. Complexity must be dosed, and not overdosed like in c1.

Its a game, which means it should be available for understandment for masses. Look at Mass Effect 1 & 2 to comprehend that. Me 1 is inferior to Me2 in terms of gameplay overall.

You keep saying this but it still doesn't change the fact that Crysis 2 is a console port. The DX11 patch and extra stuff came after and was just bolted on.

This game wasn't build for the PC from the ground up like Crysis 1 was.

It ain't a port anymore is all i'm saying, do you have a dx11 card?, how you like the dx11 maxed?, look like a console?, didn't think so.

You continually moan about this game, if it were me i'd move on, for you it's a lemon, for me a Jewel.

I'm not the one moaning, I'm talking about past tense and if Crysis 2 was a "lemon" for me, I wouldn't be here.

Btw Both the Major and General are stupid in C1.
Major is a type of general. Lets say that.

The simplisticity trend in games is a good thing, and its not tied to games only. If you look at technology - we go to more simplistic gameplay (usage).

And lets divide simplicity. Sc2 is better Sc1 , though it is more simplistic. - It allows for a more constant flow of the game (now workers mine by themselves , we have a-move).
Me2 has a Thermal Clip system (Bullets and reload) rather than Me1's - overheat system. (shoot until weapon overheats). - and this is better.

Yes these things make hardcoe gamers rage - but for the average player these improvements mean a lot. They allow to concentrate on actual gameplay, and having fun - rather than focus firing (Sc) or looking at your weapons heat level (Me1).
And add to that the inventory revamp from ME1 to Me2. In Me1 you had an actual inventory, in me2 you just choose which weapons would you like to equip. And it made a huuuge difference.

The simplisticity trend in games is a good thing... for simpletons. Otherwise you can see it for what it is, degradation of once unique and amazing games.

You're nitpicking with a couple of examples that fit for you. I'm not saying all change is bad at all, I'm saying over simplification is, accessability for the masses being the worst excuse. Many people can see what it does to good games that thrived with their complexities.

Oh no, a baby might happen to play this game (Terrey) so let's not provide any more depth than he could handle, great. You could never reach the skill level you could aquire in C1 by playing C2. It might make for more quicker action and "fun" in the short term, but not for all and not in the long term.

Your talking about a person who played C&C :)

Ok, complexity was a good thing, in the 1990's .

Could you please throw at me, a few examples where simplicity was bad? (i know there are a lot of em, so give me the best you can find)

The only thing I'm going to throw at you now is something at your head. Go work it out for yourself, if it doesn't prove to be too complex.
