was playing on DDD Armaggedon Crashsite just a few minutes ago. thought that server has the least cheaters because of regular admin, well i was proven wrong. image says it all:

the guy has energy cheat (he was bunny hoping doing constant power jump), aimbot (headshot instantly), speedhack (sprinted around like a jet), and worst of all we could not vote kick him. the vote would come up but it won't kick him. we tried vote kicking him twice. shows how terrible votekick in this game is.

Me and crusnik8 were the only 2 to come out of that hell with possitive k/d. the rest of our team was dominated. (I personally got 3 kills on the hacker so i'm quite proud

so now the xTK is a cheating clan? with that in mind i have reasons to suspect other players with that tag.

Your image is corrupt. but if we can get Crusnik to confirm this i can talk to the admin and see if we can do somthing about this, maybe bann them permanently.

well does he have an acc on here? i'm pretty sure he know the guy was cheating since he's usually at the #1 spot which he is except for that guy.

also that guy called in the ceph gunship 4 times. u know someone is definitely cheating when that happens especially on popular server and on a match with pros like crusnik :p

I definitely would trust any judgement call Crusnik would make, hes no light gamer, and i believe so yes, he has an account here.

That's why you need something like FRAPS running - a screenshot is not evidence of cheating. 50+ to 9 is a very good score but legit players can make that number.

Hey my name is up there LOL. Was this on the Evac Zone, he was on my team snipping I guess. Saw him on top of a emat tent on the corner of my eye when the votekick came. Thought it was another error on my network damn was having a good day with an almost 1:1 kd LOL.

It seemed like he was really cheating since it was statistically impossible to kill at his rate. Kill message was like all his.

on a side note...

He wasn't votekicked me thinks, opposing team was convincing everyone to :

How cam someone like me that just joined the server know this guy on my team is really hacking or was that good. I don't have him on my kill cam.

Sometimes in other servers I get the "Your an idiot" when I ask why the votekick instead of an explanation (when the subject of the votekick was on my team).

Some names can be legit like <>. but if it's legit, players can vote kick him and admins can ban him (while the admin is in game) without being kicked off the admin tool. But if the admin is kicked from the tool that means it's an altered name and the admin must disconnect from the game before he can execute a kick or ban. The admin can then look into the Banned List and see the actual player's name.
Manually adding <> won't work and adding >>VilagVege<< will only add <> to the Banned list which of-course will not work because it isn't a real player name. If it was a real player name, the admin tool would automatically add the player's Profile ID #.

I deal with this sh!t everyday because Crytek has the worst anti-cheat system in the world of gaming. If we could only have a real admin tool. They have known about these 'name altering characters' for a long time and still won't address the problem. They must be so desperate for money that they don't care if hackers buy the game and too stupid to realize that Globally Banned hackers may even buy more games like BOOM and the Pony did.

I'm banning him because of his name as well as the players who have contacted me about this guy hacking and crashing the server. Wake up Dude. I really don't care if you think it's fair. Players that use these 'name altering characters' fall into the same category as those that "look like a duck, quack like a duck and sh!t like a duck".

BTW, have you ever heard of these guys? Have you ever played with them? Do you know anything about them? Are you willing to vouch for them?

I don't think you understand. The <> characters don't mean they're hacking. It's the ones that use the >>PlayerName<< and what you see is <> in-game.
You guys need to read the prior posts to understand.
Ask yourself: why would anyone use the name >>PlayerName<< (which can't be kicked or banned normally) only to show their name in-game as <>? Why not just use <>?

Maybe they're good players tired of getting kicked from servers by admins with itchy ban sticks.

Oh you can't be connected to the game, I wonder if thats the problem I was having. I actually agree with Geronimo this time, every player I've see with the html special symbols in their name has been cheating and they do it so its difficult to ban them . I've gotten complaints about a Vilag dude before on our clan servers.

thank you for your prompt and decisive response geromino. now I can place my trust on DDD server again

and for the people who said the guy is just "good", please, he was carrying a DSG on a relatively small map, and was power jumping every second. he was not camping on some rooftop and sniping. when i try spraying him from behind using my feline, he jumped, turn around, and go BAM and i was killed with a headshot. kill cam show that he scope in but the time that he scoped in is so quick that there was no image of me or my head in the crosshair. it's like he did a right click zoom then immediate left click headshot. obvious aimbot.

also we did try votekicking him through the votekick in the console, but the usual countdown of vote doesn't show. instead of like "votekick (player name) 5 vote" and then start counting down to 0, it just says "kick (playername)" everytime a vote was inputted. obvious name hack. I believe geromino also said he crashed the server.

oh well at least i came out of that with positive k/d and still managed to kick that guy's ass 3 times hackers aren't impossible to kill haha.
