So skyrim dosn't come out for another four months or so and I was wondering if I liked Oblivion/Morrowind will i enjoy fallout 3. I've never played a fallout game before and I guess I would get it for PC. Thanks

This should probably go in the Fallout 3 forums, not the Fallout: New Vegas forums. :spotted owl:

As for your question, all depends on what you like, I personally love both TES, and FO. So I'd say try it out.

I believe you will like fo3 and fo nv. I can t see how anyone that enjoys rpgs or story oriented games would not like fallout

Ummmm there are alot of different reports from people on the same platforms. I have fo nv for ps3, and after all the patches it works pretty good. Some people with PC say they have no problems at all.

I had a 360 during fo3, and that worked great throughout. I have never played fo3 on ps3. My buddy just got fo3 on PC and says it crashes like mad, but he has no problems with fo nv. Still others say they have no problems with either game on PC.

Your guess is as good as mine on how well the games will work for you on which platform.

The majority of bugs that are appearing now are on a personal basis. Meaning what afflicts one, won't necessarily afflict another, besides, I beleive that some of the people in the Modding Community have made their own fixes for various issues.

My point is, you'll be taking the same amount of risk with the PS3 as you would with the PC bug wise.

The only bad thing about Fallout are the bugs. SOme people experience none, some people have crashes and some people get game failures such as objectives don't complete etc

I love Oblivion, FO3 and FNV. I haven't finished Morrowind. If you like the open world exploration, you'll love Fallout. I can tell you that the color palette is different for FO3 and FNV. FO3 is much grayer and darker because the DC area was devastated by the bombs. FNV has a brighter palette with more color because it was spared the bomb devastation. FO3 is a darker game and great, as is FNV. As far as the FNV bugs, they are a lot better now than they were. There are still some but there are some in all of these open world games. I just deal because I love them. Good luck with what you decide to play! I'm doing the same...playing FNV again while waiting for Skyrim. :)

If you get FNV, get the Boone bugfix that RickerRK made...it's on Nexus.
