Victor and hes shack

Post » Sun Jul 17, 2011 4:39 pm

Well, I recently started a new save. As I always do I start by helping Ringo. After you got as an objective to gather some folks to fight against the powder gangers it′s possible to ask victor for help. He says "count me in" or something like that. So by saying that I take it as a Yes. But this is the second time I try to get him to help me. But he never enters the battle and is nowhere to be seen. So... Is it a bug, does house stop him or is he unable to fight? Just wondering, it′s just seem so odd.

Another thing that come to my attention was that the shack has an old world flag by the entrance. Well, I couldn′t help for it but Ulysses came to my thoughts as soon as i saw it. The guy have been facinating me since I opened my playing cards.
1. Old world flags are almost nowhere to be seen.
2. The shack is empty.
3. Ulysses was a courier meaning he worked for mr. house.

But still, as far as we know Ulysses lived in the Wolfhorn ranch, but it could have served him as a temporary home or something?
Well, this is just some thoughts, so I could just be rambling alot of bullsh-t. But I want to hear your guys opinion about it.

Victor powers down during the fight. If you talk to him afterwards, he can't seem to recall what happened. Upon further investigation, he was remotely shut down.

it should be noted that Mojave Express is a company and not directly affiliated with Mister House. House just contracted them to deliver the Platinum Chip

Yeah, thats true, but not in this case. "Ulysses is a courier for the Mojave Express in 2281. One of seven hired by Victor" - Wikia: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ulysses

I don't think Mr. House wants to involve himself with the Powder Gangers at that point (or really attract any attention to his dealings).

yes, he was under contract to work for Mister House to make a delivery

I just want to avoid any confusion that could lead one to believe that Ulysses was in the employ of Mister House over and above being contracted to making a delivery
