is it me or is their just alot of complaining about the game on this forum? (if this post broke some sort of rule or anything i apologize.. )
if you dont like the game then stop playing it or deal with it. the guns are fine the game is fine. yeah its different... it does take time to get used to ...
yes the AI isnt the greatest.. but if your saying easy is hard then.. maybe your just not as good as you thought you were. not trying to be rude.. but its true.. just learn your character.. it helps..
each character is pretty leveled in its ability to gain exp. all the guns are pretty leveled.. the barnett.. powerful.. sometimes depending on the shot or damage of the person being shot. can be a ohk .. most of the time its not. but look at its bolt action time.
the other guns.. have their pros and cons to.
the light medium and heavy characters are explained.. you know what your getting into before you choose.. instead of bashing the game on the forums and telling the creators what you dont like.. why dont you thank them for making a shooter thats not generic and a copy of something else?
not trying to be mean or rude.. yes the game has its flaws everything does.. but complaining is pointless...
i dont know if anyone agrees with me.. but it seems like every post i click on is bashing the game in some way or another.. why dont we say something we like about the game?

so what abilities and weapons and attachments do yall use? id like to know what others are using.

I get most people get the feeling that because they paid for the game, they are head honcho and have a first hand in developement. Truth is, lately developing studios release games earlier because in-house beta testers cost money, and it's more cost-efficient to give players early access and fix the game on the go. Most people forget that the game stays free even after the buggy period, and they give them a hard time without even offering a month to fix it, which they said they will already make up with a free DLC.

And I have four characters, one for each class. My attachments are all over the place.

true...
i have 9 characters .. first four are 20. 20 . 17. 15. the others are below ten..
my first character is an all around.. after that i started to specialize them.. and just have different weapon set ups to keep it interesting.. basing alot of it on what i thought in the customization design.. as in strictly sniper long distance.. short distance.. run and gun. recon.. etc...

A lot of what you can look at as complaining is also people trying to get changes which they think would further improve a game they already enjoy.

They're not always saying "this game is *$&# because ..." - Sometimes they're saying "Great game but if ... it would be even better" - often they're wrong, but that's why we have public forums to let people voice these ideas and see what others think of them.

Obliviondoll a voice of reason as always.
Correct aswell I might add.

Necrosis would it be awful of me to point out that you seem to complain alot about people complaining for someone who seems to hate complaining.

Also since im nitpicking this clearly belongs in General, not to mention its a topic that allrdy exsists, in multiples.

As soon as I read that I stopped.

The AI at level 20 on EASY is more skilled and tactical than a team of humans. It also DOESN'T help that your team's AI is, to put it lightly, pretty [censored] god-damned stupid. The difference between friendly bots and enemy bots in terms of intelligence is HUGE; enemy bots buff more, enemy bots push further, enemy bots group up more, enemy bots shoot more, enemy bots aim better, enemy bots camp the objective, enemy bots exploit vantage points... singeplayer mode essentially becomes you vs. an entire team of bots that can insta-headshot-kill you with SMGs/ARs from mid-range on full-auto.

On numerous occasions I have been SPAWNCAMPED by the enemy bots, because in the team of 8 I'm the only one who will actually shoot something before I die. I once ended the match with MORE XP than the TOP 3 BOTS IN MY SQUAD... COMBINED. I had 16k+, the next was just a little over 5k. I am constantly finishing the matches as top of my class, top for kills, and top overall... and I am constantly the only player on the field pulling their weight. I should not have to carry the entire team on EASY just because SD went overboard with making the friendly AI dumb... "so they don't steal your thunder" or so I've heard. Yeah, true, they shovel me their thunder by the [censored] truckload.

Probably worth mentioning - PC has had a patch to improve the AI behaviour. Console versions haven't seen it yet. Not sure why. Probably holding off for the next round of patching (when presumably they're also repairing the texture and lag issues that are prevalent in the XBox version... and the lag issues a few people are experiencing on PS3 - not me, but I've heard of people who have trouble)

The PC is also getting a patch that mainly fixes the sound glitches. Basically Refuel. Can't wait to finally play that map online. :celebration:

As a member of almost all games I've played (albeit some only for a short time) it's not rocket science that people will choose here to complain about the game, or 'put forward their suggestions' which usually start off as something they think would really improve their own play style and screw balance up completely. It's true that if you have an opinion (pause for sarcastic effect) that the best place to get it to the developers is probably the game forum, but at the same time it's also the worst - because nobody pays attention to the forums because they know it's full of whining.

It's a catch 22. Sure, let people post stuff up, I'm not up for suppressing anyone's ideas, but if these people think they're making a difference they're deluded.

The forums are where the devs can go to get feedback for the game, granted some of the feedback comes off as whining, but even whiners and complainers can garner enough support to let people know there really is a problem.

Well, I don't think it needed to be said again, as it has been said several times since launch and even before, but I'll roll with it.

Feedback is feedback. Hopefully those that sift through it can tell the difference between worthwhile feedback and "balance" complaints that stem from a player's inability to use or counter a weapon/ability/class.

I have very few complaints about the game, and some of my early issues have slowly melted away as I learn how to get around them. The A.I. isn't really an issue for me much anymore. Yes, my team can be dumb, but I've seen it work together to accomplish objectives when I was feeling doomed, which is more than I can say for the human players I've seen that just quite and leave me fighting a team of humans on my own.

I have very few complaints about this game, and I think the balance is very good. I would hate to see too many changes that could ruin what is already a great experience. There should be a better lobby/friend system but other than that I have thoroughly enjoyed this game, and intend on playing it for quite a while.

As for what I use, I have chosen to specialize my characters, so I have a Heavy Engineer, carry the Gotlung or Chiznor, and the Bulpdaun SMG as my backup. This is my tank used for controlling an area and defending my team when they are completing objectives..

My other character is a Light Operative, I use this character to run all around capturing command posts for my team, comm hacking downed enemies, hacking turrets, tossing caltrop grenades in high traffic areas, and generally being a pain in the butt to the enemy therefore taking the enemy attention away from my team mates as they complete objectives... I carry the Bulpdaun and the Kaly Pistol..

Next project is Heavy Medic who will be a tank ably to deal and take damage while getting in the pits to revive my team whenever they go down and keep their help buffed at all times.

i use the kross and tokmak simply for their large ammo capacity that way i dont need to rely on soldiers too much or risk running out and having to switch weapons in the middle of a mexican standoff B)

I usually skip whining and see the constructive criticism - but the original post has a valid point.
Those who played the game since release and are still angry at it should realize it's just not their style.
And I say this because the first two or three days were torture until I realized how the guns and A.I. worked (and I beat those pesky challenges).
