Bonds...Magic Bonds


LMAO...I was going to go with something serious, but I'm going to consider this just because it's so damn funny.

How about:- Bands of Aetherius - Bracelets of the Arcane- Bracers of Magic- Mystic Bracers- Galerion's Gauntlets (Vanus Galerion was the founder of the Mages Guild)- Psijic Bands (Psijic Order is the oldest monastic group in Tamriel)


The thing is that I also want implement the prison theme somehow. They are shackles after all. Is there anything in the lore about magic prisons on Aetherius? Or what about the Aedric spirits? The wiki vaguely tells of these beings being earthbound. Is there a prison/punishment element to that?

That's a little too vanilla for me. I've been reading the lore on the wiki, but nothing has jumped out yet.

As a pure mage, I wear them the entire game. Wearing no armor, and with no gloves available in the game. They are a welcome addition. Especially since they're zero weight.

As the only non armor hand slot items in the game, I'm pretty sure that a poll would reveal that a large number of players keep them.

Well, some new players probably throw them away, before they realize that they're the only hand-slot non-armor enchantable item in the game (great for mages) and they're zero-weight.

Yep. Although I suppose diving for them where we tossed them somewhere in Lake Rumare could become its own little quest. My same character gave away Azura’s Star. D’oh!

I like the fortify magicka enchantment. As Acadian pointed out, the enthusiastic Destructionist often enjoys a little magicka boost. Mine are called Arcane Well. I know that’s already the name of a power, but it keeps them at the top of the inventory and quickly tells me what they do.

Of course this:
Bonds...Magic Bonds

is so much better!!
