How do I completely remove Oblivion from my computer?

Post » Mon Jul 18, 2011 6:04 am

I'm talking about everything, including the configurations. I've uninstalled Oblivion like three times, and I've even deleted the Oblivion folder, but I think it still keep my configuration. I had it set to window mode, and when I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, it still started in windowed mode, which means my configuration must still be there. I'm pretty sure my save is still there as well. I remember seeing it once even though I uninstalled Oblivion and deleted its folder. The reason why I wanna delete everything is because Oblivion keeps crashing at the start up, and I think it may be because of my old save file or some configuration. I just want a clean start up.

Did you make sure to delete the My Documents>My Games>Oblivion folder? That is where the configuration settings and save files are kept.

Yeah, I just did that. For some reason, I couldn't find the My Games folder without using the search bar on Vista to search for my save files. Now time to see if it'll fix my crashing problem. I'm afraid that I might have other stuff lying around that I missed.
