New OWB trait?

Post » Mon Jul 18, 2011 5:33 am

Ive seen mentioned in previews that there would be a new trait in OWB that you could take that would limit you to just the standard 30 levels. But so far ive found no word about what the bonus is. Anyone know?

Ive heard that OWB allows you to replace one of your traits with this new one. If below 30 i asume.

It either caps you at 30 if you have not reached level 30 yet. OR It will cap you at your current level. ex) If you take it at level 37 you will stay at level 37

I was just wondering what the whole point of the trait is then?

All traits save wild wasteland have a bonus and a malus. And in this case its a pretty serious malus, whats going to entice you to take it, or even replace one of your other and more useful traits for it?

He is asking what bonus we get for taking the level 30 cap. Traits come with a plus and a minus so what is the plus?

Damn beat me to it.

The traits bonus is that you don't get to become so overpowered it makes the game to easy, something many people want because with they way the game is set up now by level 40 i have all stats at 90.

As to the way they impliment it, I think they will give us 3 trait slots so we have the option of taking the level cap trait. What I'm curious about is, if we have wild wasteland and then "deselect" itfrom our traits what will that do? would the player then be able to go and get the YCS-186? Is it explained as they hallucinate less? THAT will be the interesting part. Just my 2 caps.

Edit: beat me to it.
