Why is there no bathrooms in Tamriel? Fallout i get. Real locations dealing with earth and all that, but on the continent of Tamriel does all life excrete no waste? Do bears not sh*t in the woods? I know in fallout you never actually used the bathroom and they were really just drinking fountains... but i digress. Is there a place for toilets in Tamriel and is it too late to add them after so many games without?

I remember a game where going to the bathroom was how you saved your game. Interesting feature. Also interesting that i can't remember anything else about that game. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a fighter or flight simulator..

Thanks, right there is all that needs to be said about bathrooms in TES. I'll pass, because I'd like the games to remain memorable. :thumbsup:

Fallout had several bathrooms, actually. You could even drink from the toilets.

My justification for no bathrooms in Tamriel is simply that the people of Tamriel do not make waste in such a way. Their food gives them Restore Fatigue and things like that, the very nature of Mundus is magical, and their food contains the same properties. The sewers are just there for the rain and for dumping out drinking water/bathing water/potions/etc.

Yeah it was hard to miss the toilets on hardcoe mode when you were dying of dehydration. and i totally blanked on the sewers. If they are there then where's the indoor plumbing, of any kind?
