Enhanced Economics

Post » Mon Jul 18, 2011 8:30 pm

With the passing of time the Vvardenfell economy grows. New trade links and previously unexplored regions have been opened by merchants and although many dangers still exist, trade has expanded to the four corners of the continent. More ingredients have become available. More weapons. More items. More clothing. More armour. More alchemy. More of what the population of Morrowind have been wanting and are eager to pay for. Where the gold goes, the Merchants are sure to follow.

This mod includes
- 86 types of alchemic brews
- 11 types of armour
- 21 books
- 1 clothing
- 4 enchantments
- 23 ingredients
- 179 miscellaneous items
- 1 new lockpick
- 35 weapons

Enhanced Economics is done by the request. Many in the community have wanted a mod that places custom objects in the leveled lists. Enhanced Economics endeavours to spice up the world of Morrowind with the random chance of finding new and unique items in locations across the land. In boxes and closets, in urns and in vases, every time you explore a chest, barrel or crate, there will be a chance of something new for you to see.

This project has been in the pipeline for well over a year and utilises works from the community abroad. Many resources will be new, some are old favorites. Some have been dusted off from long ago to make a long awaited debut in shops and in stocks. In making this mod, it has been a goal to incorporate these items into the world as seamlessly as possible. This mod will come with additional expansions in future, as time allows the exploration of more fine community resources.

So far I'm enjoying the mod. All the items I've found randomly so far have been very well done.

A few of the icons still have a solid black square around them. Mostly the red jasper stuff. But that's a minor quibble. Nicely done!

The objects are community made. I have added them to the game. All the README files are included (I hope) so you can explore the resources for yourself. All good. Thanks for the info.

These things take time to circulate. Hell, I just found out about it. ;) And I look forward to checking it out. You always do good work, after all. They should put a plaque up to you in Pelagiad, given the way you've enhanced quality business, there.

My tone is light, but I'm quite sincere about what you do. :)

I'm enjoying it, quite a bit. I just had to play it a while before posting. I have gotten a few errors:

TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\CAB\Min\GM7_Plate_01.nif" tex not found "Textures\CAB\Mineral\GM7_MSP.dds"!
TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\CAB\Min\GM7_Plate_01.nif" tex not found "Textures\CAB\Mineral\GM7_Plate.dds"!
TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\CAB\Min\GM7_Plate_01.nif" tex not found "Textures\CAB\Mineral\GM7_Strip_02.dds"!

The referenced textures are missing from the archive.
