And if he just said "Yo, your Dad is in XX, but could you please go completely out of your way into super-mutant infested ruins and fix my dish so I can talk to people in the wasteland.... Please."
Would you go? NO, you wouldn't would you?
So his show's important enough to send a 19 year old kid looking for his Dad into the DC hellhole?
No I wouldn't help him if he just told me, but thats beside the point. If he is truly a well meaning person, he should just tell the LW and ask for a favor in return, if the LW doesn't comply, then that should be fine. Why does he have to have something for something? Especially when his "something" is pretty much worthlesss to begin with, and he acts like he knows more than he does?
And all this "fighting the good fight" buisiness is bullcrap. No matter how he spins it (fighting the good fight "WITH MY VOICE!!" ) all he does is sit up in a studio and jabber all day, while having others (including 19 year old kids) fight his battles for him. If nothing else, he's a hypocrite in that respect.
but honestly it does not make him a hypocrite. If he said "I am against all forms of remuneration and compensation, everything should be given away for free!"
Claiming to "fight the good fight" against oppression and injustice, and then performing a form of extortion on a 19 year old kid is hypocrisy, plain and simple.
