Epic Quest For NOTHING!

Post » Tue Jul 19, 2011 2:57 pm

some of you that played Two worlds 2, probably remember that there was one quest to find 3 unique Runes troughout the world, you need to travel and do alot of stuff and the quest giver promise he will reward you with epic weapon, Once i found all the 3 Runes and got the him hoping to get amazing weapon after all the trouble i went trough, he freaking tells me that there is no reward and the 3 runes are at least his.

the reason im telling you this because this isnt the first game that i had something like that, and i HOPE that there wont be this kind of stuff in skyrim, since things like that makes me want to stop playing the game.

there should be a law that means, Quest=reward, Big Quest=Big Reward!

Actually, that sounds pretty awesome. As long as there will be options on how to finish quests, I would like things like this. Definitely helps replayability too.

I don't want there to be a set equation where every quest = reward. Some should be rewarding just because you completed it, not because you gained "epic lootz".

i would love to see a quest like this, but then it tells you, "Except your bad luck OR Kill that back stabbing bastard and take his awesome loot."

Maybe you were suppose to grow from the experience

It wouldn't bother me if awards were cheap, as I usually make my own equipment.

The thing is you wouldnt call the reward cheap, since you needed to explore, bribe, kill, cover alot of land, just to get those Runes, and then you get NOTHING!

I'm for having few quests where quest giver basically screw you
sending you on dangerous task and after it not only not giving any reward, but also hiring assassins to eliminate any evidences.
