If you're looking for a concise, detailed list of must-have mods, you can find one on my website: http://abusemynipbles.biz

You know, I hesitate to click on a link that is labeled "http://abusemynipbles.biz." Just saying. I'm guessing it's your own personal site, but it so looks like spam.

IMO, I found your list to be extremely biased, considering you seemed to mention your own mod (BTB's game improvements) as somehow related to the usefulness of every other mod on the list.

Well, that's because my list *is* extremely biased. And I speak of my own mod and how it relates to every other mod on the list because my mod is built around all of the other mods that I use.

The problem is that not everyone who reads the list will use your mod, and won't be able to judge the usefulness of the mods by itself. It would make more sense to name the list something like "BTB's Game Improvement's: Complementary mods", or divide the list by the type of mod, considering you already categorized the mods.

I believe a thread like this is supposed to be biased. The question was "What are YOUR essential mods", not "What are the best mods of all time in your unbiased opinion". :)

I never play without my http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7166 anymore. I had one character who slogged it through the Main Quest without any mods at all. Since then, a teleport ring is a must-have, and since I made this one, it's adapted to my taste. Some kind of head replacer is also essential to me, usually Better Heads. Finally, I won't play without my http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7335. I made it because I got tired of mixing up my enchanted items - all the icons were the same. Now it's easy to tell the difference between them.

Also, Tamriel Rebuilt - awesome. The rest of my mods are subject to change.

Looking at my mod list, there are only 4 mods that I consider essentials:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=258
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1463
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8326

and obviously...

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7899.

My #1 most important mod? Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds and Graphics - can't imagine playing without it. Okay, its cheating because its a compilation of mods but its easier than listing all of those mods individually :D this should be a requirement for every new Morrowind player (and old player!).

#2 would be BTB's Game Improvements, which overhauls the game balancing and makes it more challenging!

Also Tamriel Rebuilt - new lore-friendly areas to explore!

Finally, H.E.L.L.U.V.A - a massive compilation of armor and weapons along with the balance patch that spyiffyman made to make it compatible with BTB's mod.
