- clicking the "Sign In" button
- entering email and password
now it looks as if we're logged in, but looks can be deceiving:
- clicking "Edit Profile"
we're logged out again - the "Sign In" button is back in the top right corner.
- clicking "Sign In" again
we're given a dark grey box, pretty much empty, saying: History - Member for 4 weeks 1 day
we've tried everything. visiting secure.gamesas.com/logout before logging in, loads of different browsers, different pc's, different operating systems, even another internet provider (using my cellphone) - to no avail. also, logging in with his ingame nick instead of his email does not work at all: "Sorry, invalid username or password". all the while i can log in fine with either my ingame nick or my email, so there's definitely something wrong with his account. had a short chat with EA online support last night, but as exepcted there was nothing she could do but forward the matter for further review to one of their senior support staff members. has anyone had the same problem and got it fixed?
