Fallout 4 Speculations, Suggestions & Ideas, #27

Savage is just being funny, how about he was attacking a rival mercenary grou alone, he killed seven of them but the last guy got a lucky shot and scooped his head clean off. You can find him celebrating in a nearby bar with his Lucky Revolver.

The thing is I don't like direct references, easter eggs shouldn't be blatant or obvious, i'd prefer no explanation or backstory to any reference, just a dead merc with or without a unique weapon or note that references it being Mako.

Honestly, I'd prefer it if they didn't even reference him at all, he doesn't exist.

Whatever, what do you guys think about different biomes within the map? On my map there is a ton of grassland and there's the Great Desert on the map in my signature...

If the world is large enough to call for different "biomes", which yours is, it's fine. But the rapid change from desert to snow in New Vegas, Jacobstown, sorta made me turn my head a bit.

I did the same.

I'm trying to come up with other biomes besides grassland and desert.

Forest? Snowland? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deciduous and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiga)

I don't know how it looks like in that area, but some northern parts could be colder and have more trees (living or dead.. I remember Fallout 1 and 2 having forests... but kind of dead, or atleast lacking much leaves.)

Yeah I was thinking about having some forests and snowland up to the north and on the top of mountainous areas (I will add more soon).

I was also considering adding the area called the Deadlands to my map, if you don't know the Deadlands are:

'Land in what used to be Canada. Nothing has ever been found alive here by the MWBoS's scouts, just ashs for miles.'

-My Official Description

I was thinking this could set up for a DLC about a group of people who are living in a Vault and staying there due to the odd chemical a nearby lab was testing Pre-War which radiation mutated and made it so nothing could live or grow there.

The scientists could still be alive as mutants similar to the Master (spliced together in as a glob of flesh) who are allied with Davisom (that guy who leads those people who worship that brahmin skull, they think that this is their god's true form and the father of the Master) and his nightkin. Davison tells them of the Master's Army and they decide to do the same, abducting Vault Dwellers. Your character recieves a distress signal from the Vault and can head north with some MWBoS scouts who have also recieved the signal to see what's going on (doesn't matter what your reputation with the MWBoS is, these guys will be neutral).

You can choose to join Antler (the name the scientists have taken due to Davison and his Nightkin continuasly calling them that) and become mutated and watch ending slides of the MW being dominated by a 'New Master' or you can help the Vault Dwellers, kill Antler and watch as a few of Davison's nightkin escape to take vengance, then you lead the vault dwellers to safety in the MW.

That'd be an awesome DLC, it should be called Deadlands (like the area it takes place in).

This game needs property, busness and the ability to form your own faction/gang/group.

In terms of smaller scale. Add more items and definitely add backpacks. Make the back packs actually do something like now instead of just weight have size and weight. backpacks would tie into perks and skill etc.

Also more unique items. Maybe some randomly generating ones. Like a certain hat in a certain color or something like that. It can appear at any merchants. So we can't search Fo Wiki to find every item. Like im talking lots of unique items. They don't all have to be special or really good items either. Just slight varients. So instead of having one bandana there is 10. and ones that can be worn over mouth or as head band. It wouldn't be hard to have more items just change the coloration of the same thing. But no matter what never let us change the color of items...thats extremely junky and takes away from the allure of finding that perfect item that looks great with my clothing.

In terms of property and buisness it would give players a chance to go to either extreme of the spectrum. Lonly camping survialist to popular city gang leader and any where in between.

Oh yeah...ADD GAS MASKS!! Different types like the russian and US army surplus ones. Basically watch book of eli then insert their clothing!

What do you guys think? I think these are all reasonable to implement at least to some extent.

You know what I think? I think we should here that everything in the Capital Wasteland is like perfect now, clean water everywhere, no mutants, as they were racist towards ghouls in F3, (maybe they fled west or (to make things more interesting) they fled north to Philly and formed an anti-Capital faction, spreading false rumors about them which is why people in that area don't want to become part of the BoS CAPITAL (that's what there name should be), appearances by Gob, Fawkes, Uncle Leo, Charon, and many other CW ghouls would be awesome!) Harold (who is probably the only mutant in the Capital) has expanded greatly, and there are no more raiders.
Maybe even a DLC of the now peaceful CW (although I know it would be very boring, but it's just to show twenty years of progress).

Yeah that is probally a better idea for the inhabitants of Philly. Except no Super Mutants, Fawkes and Uncle Leo would be the only one. It could be ghouls from Underworld and others. Also there are a few raider groups. Then the big one trying to settle them all down, and the fox raiders pillage in order to survive as they take no drugs or anything like that, but the others do take drugs and drink beer heavily.
