What about the wasteland?

The Basincreek Building
Emergency Service Railyard
Gypsum Train Yard
Poseidon Gas Station
Samson Rock Crushing Plant
Searchlight Airport
and a few more I cant think of at the moment.
I'm just wondering will any of these locations have any updates to give them more purpose by the last scheduled dlc?

If you're on a computer, download the mod "A World of Pain". Except for the Basincreek Building, the modder added stuff to all those building plus more places. I think the games designers left alot of places empty so modders could add their own stuff. That's how it worked in FO3.

By that logic, the game should be more empty than it is.

I don't think the game should have so many aesthetic but unfunctioning places.

There are a few too many none functioning places. But it looks fine to me. It's a wasteland and it's the desert. Ghost towns and places are all over that sort of place.

I don't see whats wrong with it. It was used a a dumping ground for nuclear waste a lot. So it must have been vast and wild in prewar times.
Some places do look like they were meant for some other purpose other than just being there though. Maybe they were meant for quests that were never put in.

Some places you mentioned, I don't think they need a purpose beyond being there. Maybe Searchlight Airport, Samson Rockcrushing Plant and Basincreek building do, though.

I did expect more functioning places, I have to say.
