Most broken DLC yet

Post » Wed Jul 20, 2011 6:17 pm

OK, so in 2 hours I have had 5 hard freezes, have leveled to 40 three times without the perks taking effect, and multiple graphical errors. This is a disaster and I have all the updates available. This DLC cannot be finished in its current form. Anyone else running into problems?

This DLC worked fine for me. I've experienced nothing but a little FPS issues and lag issues with the pip boy screen. Oh, and it froze only once for me, while I was zooming into VATS.

Yeah as soon It puts me in world the frame rate drops to nearly nothing. It was fine in the sink and think tank area but as soon as i step outside it drops to nothing or just crashes. I don't see how it can possibly be this hard to get a game to run properly.

I froze once, but i think that was my ancient Xbox rather then the DLC. So far, for me, this DLC has worked the best out of all of them, it's also my favourite one so far, so wins all round right now.

Don't get me wrong, I like the whole set-up (story, humor, enemies), I just want to be able to play it. Thanks everyone for making me feel better (I am not alone). Keep my fingers crossed for my 6th try at a play through.

I played through the entire DLC and I didn't encounter any problems other than an annoying V.A.T.S. glitch where my character would do nothing and I'd have to wait it out until it went back to normal. It was really annoying when it did happen, which was semi-frequently, but I got past it. It svcks that you can't play the DLC without being plagued with problems, though. I think it's a fantastic add-on.

No FPS problems on my end, however after finishing all the quests I did experience some crashes on fast travelling.

The only major issue I am experiencing is that none of the achievements have been awarded to me, even after leaving the big empty and going back to the Mojave.

unplayable on PS3, took me 3 tries to get inside The Sink in the very beginning, after freezing the first 2 tries. Everything ran great inside The Sink, after meeting the Think Tanks, I went to start questing and exploring, I step outside and the frame rate dropped to basically nothing, and I couldn't move. I just gave up.

Minor random FPS hit, twice in eight hours

Asides that, no problems

Just wrapped up 12 straight hours only issue was the V.A.T.S. glitch (XBOX), happened only twice no big deal. Best DLC to date. I still have many hours of roaming around.

When the frame rate drops immidiately save your game.(might take a minute or two) then quit out and reload.

I haven't had much of any glaring issues and I am playing on a laptop (X505 series Toshiba)(GTX460M graphics card) save the lagging here and there and I am about 6 hours in as well. I did notice however that my level in the Pip Boy is showing 40 which of course is kindof impossible right now and then there is no level number on screen either. I haven't leveled up yet though so I have no idea what will happen when I do as far as keeping the perks and other stats. Time will tell...

I have an Xbox from 2005 that has trouble processing large transactions at the Gun Runners and surprisingly I haven't had a single problem.

12 hours on XBOX, only glitch was a 30 second screen lock during a Cyber Dog attack, where the screen stayed on the cyber dog health read out. I could move, but all other functions where locked up. The lock up cost me some HP, but I was able to get back control and dispatch the cyber dog.
