Security and Sneak

I'm not sure if this has been confirmed or unconfirmed or anything, but I'm curious what others think about on the matter. Now, there have been quite a few skills that have been merged together for Skyrim, but I haven't heard anything about Security and Sneak whatsoever. In a lot of games I play that have a stealth and lockpicking skill, they are merged into the same skill, usually called Thievery or something like that. It could possibly make sense for Skyrim, since it's very rare for someone who uses one of these skills to not use the other one.

My first few questions come as this: Would you want to have Security and Sneak merged into one skill? Would it make sense to have Security and Sneak merged into one skill (from both an immersion standpoint and a pure game mechanics standpoint, preferably)?

My second question is, how do you believe the lockpicking system should pan out? Should it be succeed/fail Morrowind style? Mostly player skill Oblivion style? A mix of both Fallout 3/NV style?

As for Sneak, do you believe you should be able to attempt to pickpocket the same NPC more than once (most likely with severe consequences if caught again), or should we have the same "This person has already caught you pickpocketing!" message on the second try?

Please discuss.

No, it wouldn't make sense.
Oblivion style (Fallout's was too easy and Morrowind's was near non-existant).
And no.

Given the fact that there will be many, many traps in the game and that dagger perks fall under sneak, i highly doubt security and sneak have been merged.

I personally would like to see lockpicking and picking pockets separated again (that also makes little sense)

yes

I honestly don't know how much perks they can put if security and sneak are separate, but then again maybe they can

Security does not belong in sneak. Why would a ranger or hunter know how to pick a lock. Why would a locksmith be able to hide in shadows?
Oblivion style, as long as they keep a skill based auto attempt ( OB basically had MW style as well ), and the difficulty curve by character skill is much, much steeper.
Only if the mark is a bit dim.
