Very recently, New Vegas started to pick up keystrokes incorrectly. Whenever I press a letter key on my keyboard, it instead scrolls through the number keys. I have played the game after the recent update with no problems, but overnight the game seems to have broken itself. I've tried validating the game cache files and deleting both .ini files, but neither has fixed my problem. Is there anything i can do besides re-install the game?

Edit: I have tried re-binding the keys, of course. Rebinding did not help, as attempting to re-bind the keys results in scrolling through number keys which can't be re-binded until it hits 9 or 0.
