Overhaul mod? Do you mean like, Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds & Graphics? Or something else?

I really like Vurt's Ashlands Overhaul and Wolli's Moesring Solstheim Overhaul thing.

If you are coming from Oblivion, you may be a little confused. Morrowind isn't dominated by game overhauls like TES IV. Those change parts of the game in most places, while Morrowind overhauls tend to cover specific areas. For example, MGSO covers graphics and sound. Wolli's overhauls cover mainly landscape changes (I think). You don't have to worry about large incompatibilities between overhauls as much as in Oblivion. Morrowind Rebirth covers more categories than any overhaul so far (balance, landscape, graphics, music), and is still a work in progress.

I hoped I cleared things up.

well, it's erm.. still a work in progress, but it's at a finished state, he just adds more from new ideas and suggestions all the time, so i'd say it's at a finished state, but works still been done on it. -just clearing that up, incase, lol-

Yeah, I meant gameplay wise. Like mods that drastically change the gameplay where it makes it harder or realistic. And I'm thinking about downloading the Gratuitious Violence overhaul mod. Is that a good choice? Anyone know any better?

And it looks like Morrowind is a helluva easier to install mods than Oblivion. Am I correct here, or is it that I haven't installed a huge mod yet like the gratuitious violence mod? It feels like I have to take a class just to learn how to install the mods for Oblivion.

Well if we're talking changing the gameplay, then I suppose my mod pack qualifies.

Well, in that case you should try BTB's Game Improvements. Also, Morrowind Advanced which is older but still good.

As people usually recommend for oblivion as well: Try vanilla gameplay the first time. And then, when you know what bugs you, go and search for a mod solving that. I would say BTB is too heavy for a new player. It is sometimes even too hard for an experienced player^^

Morrowind Overhaul Graphics & Sound is the one you need, and for gameplay the only thing you can do is wait for Morrownid Overhaul Gameplay

Are you joking lol
Dragging texture-folder to Data\Textures and then installing ArchiveInvalidated took you 2 days? :cryvaultboy:

Pretty bad advice to say "try vanilla first" imo, since some mods are so essential.
It is especially the case for Oblivion, which is so broken there is literally no need to even play it vanilla (not that mods would even be able to fix that mess though)
