New Factions

Like maybe there could be a guild like the guards or maybe necromancers and if you joined the guards you couldn't join the thieves guild and if you joined necromancy you couldn't join the mages guild and maybe a guild of Druids where you try to stop and foil the dark brotherhoods plans from killing anybody. What do you think? And if you wanted to join the opposing guild you would have to try to avoid the other one like the guards if u wanted to Join the thieves guild u would have to try to avoid the guards.

I'd like more guilds and I'm especially fond of the Guard faction and the idea that certain quests are only available when you're a member of multiple guilds. I'd like to add another option for guilds: Certain (non-main-)quests can have alternate endings due to new options becoming available by your guilds.

I don not like the idea of missing out certain quests to have other ones in it's place.
Also, if you join the Guard, the Thieves guild would be happy to have you - an infiltrant is always welcome.

Synergy quest example:
The guard asks you to spy on the thieves guild. However, you're also a Thieves guild member and a guild associate asks you to deliver falsified information reports. The choice what to do is still yours to make, but had you not joined the Thieves guild then you would never have had a choice.

Being a guard would cool. I RP'd a guard of Chorrol once, and it was fun even without quests (besides the few Chorrol side quests).

I want to make my OWN faction with its own rules, its own armor uniforms, its own headquarters and its own policies. That would be a dream come true.

"More" is always good, but only if other content don't suffer from that decision.

More factions = More quests, so, why not?

I worry that more quests = more watered-down quests.

All guilds should have counterparts and rivals. A good option to the Mages Guild would be a Necromancer Guild, and a substitute for the Dark Brotherhoood would be Morag Tong trying to get their business going again, perhaps trying to influence the law in Skyrim?

As long as they have some backstory, I wouldn't mind getting all the Daggerfall factions back.

Even if the quests were generic, if they had 10-12 interesting NPCs, few lore books on them and a different art design for their armor and HQs it would flesh the world out more, maybe you could join one knight guild and dominate the others.

Confused Naked Nord Guild , there is already enough lore in the subject and i think it can include in house dispute between those who drink and get lost , moonsugar users and those trying to rob witches . General rules can be 1. never ask for directions 2.quest marker always disabled 3. blue face tattoo required

I'd like to be an imperial guard, or guard in general.

Also I would love to start my own dragon slaying guild...

There's a good idea. Much like the NCR vs Boomers in FNV.
