I think he would have done better if they just told him to talk like an evil maniac who had many, many fire-related objects and liked to burn things. He would have done better IMO. Not saying the toaster is bad, it's awesome, just this awesome video wouldn't be here if they did that.

I was rather disappointed to find that it wasn't like Red Dwarf's Talkie Toaster: y'know, you're a dispenser of toasted bready things, be cool. Well okay, perhaps the word "cool" is ill-considered, but you know what I mean. Messrs Toaster and Muggy did seem to be a little stroppier than I'd expected. At least the sink is more laid back, though rather more germ-phobic than might be ideal.
