I am not a fan of the legion and I hope to wipe them out at some point in the game, I just passed through nipton and was offered the cold cold heart quest but was wondering if it I complete the quest will it put me on the side of the legion? I always fight for the good guys so I would only do this for the XP points. If this quest actually helps the legion I would rather not do it. But if its a neutral quest, why not right? Thoughts?

its just legion fame and XP, nothing too serious so why not.

I think it raises your rep with them just little tiny bit but it doesn't lower your rep with anyone else(last time i checked anyway)

You get a minor legion fame boost and xp. Also you get to see the profligate cower in fear

After you get the cold cold heart quest you can go to the mojave outpost and talk to the sniper lady on the roof and shell give you a small quest to go check out the town but if you already did that you can complete what she was going to have you do right then and there. Or you can go to the mojave outpost before checking out nipton and get her assignment then go wipe out the legion. Youll fail the cold heart quest and get bad rep with the legion. Either way if you complete cold cold heart and get a bit of good rep with the legion you can wipe them out and get a bad rep really quick!

This last game Vulpes never got a word out of his mouth before Boone got him. I feel bad for the voice actor because he's so good. We already heard his spiel in an earlier game and won't be used by the Legion; didn't need this quest.
